B&S MAX- Protects Bituminous Membranes and Shingles
Product Overview
B&S MAX is a unique nanometric coating developed and manufactured by NanoZ Coating Ltd. (MADE IN ISRAEL). It is specifically designed for the preservation, protection, and extension of the life of bituminous membranes and shingles.
The coating generates a strong hydrophobic, water-repellent mechanism (The Lotus Effect). It significantly reduces the accumulation of snow and ice and facilitates the self-cleaning of the surface from various contaminants, salinity, and accumulated soot during rainfall.
B&S MAX is based on high concentrations of pure, natural nanoparticles. These particles create a high contact angle, resulting in a strong hydrophobic effect even under a high-flow water stream. The coating provides excellent UV protection, which substantially slows down the aging process and the formation of cracks in membranes and shingles that can appear after only a few years in some cases. These properties extend the lifespan of both new and old membranes/shingles for many years, thereby saving significant costs associated with expensive replacement.

Application Instructions
- Preparation: Read and fully understand the MSDS before application. Wash the surface with pressurized water to remove all dirt.
- Timing: It is recommended to apply to a dry surface to easily identify the spray area; however, it can also be applied to a damp surface.
- Weather: Do not apply when rain is expected during the application or within 36 hours from the end of application.
- Application Method: Spray using a dedicated Nano Stone sprayer (available for purchase from the company) from a distance of 15 cm until full saturation is achieved.
- Technique: Apply one coat using a “cross-hatch” (up-down, left-right) technique, “wet-on-wet”. Ensure full coverage, paying close attention to the joints of the membranes.
- Curing: The surface is active for water repellency after complete drying. Final drying time is 24 hours.
Application Tools: Sprayer. The company provides dedicated sprayers designed to handle the nanoparticles at an attractive cost. Alternatively, application can be done using common air systems such as airless sprayers.
Important Note: To achieve correct dispersion and material savings, the original Nano Coatings sprayer must be used.
